Playdate & Pony Rides
On Saturday morning, one of Tessa's favorite friends came over to play. We had the best time playing princess wedding. Tessa is going to be a flower girl this summer and so we have been practicing for the big day. The girls thought it was awesome to take turns tossing flower petals and walking down the "aisle." I hummed the wedding march and snapped pictures while pretending to be the photographer (haha).
The blushing bride and Perdita the Puppy, one of our wedding "guests."
The girls rode Tessa's pink pony to the "reception." Then we cranked up Tessa's cd player and danced and danced. These girly girls are so fun!
Later that same day we went to ride real ponies. I love horses and so does Tessa. Perhaps riding lessons are in our future.
Tessa popped right up on her horse's back without any hesitation. I'm so proud of her riding like a big girl.
Tessa's rode a horse named Cocoa. At one point during the ride, Cocoa had to stop and take care of some business. After that, we had way too many jokes about Cocoa Puffs. But here Tessa's giving a little love pat, such a sweetheart.
I think it's safe to say these kiddos had fun.
And as a special Mother's Day bonus, we got to see a newborn foal. Only one week old, this baby is all legs.
