Gingerbread Houses

We got together with friends for a playdate where we decorated gingerbread houses.  The girls made a huge mess of candy, icing and cookies before losing interest and running off to play.  We moms took the opportunity to sit, chat and finish the gingerbread houses.  I really miss our weekly playgroups.  Tessa's house is in the middle with the red windows, green door and listing trees. 

Since the weather was nice, we moved the party outside.  Notice that it is December and my child is wearing a sleeveless top.  She has this new thing that she is "a hottie" and that I make her wear too many clothes so she gets "all schweaty."  So the new rule at our house is that you must wear pants/tights/leggings to go outside.  But turtlenecks and coats are debatable, depending on the day and my level of energy.  For this picture, I was just glad she kept her pants on, literally!
